About the notebook

A reference for ordinary design choices

Everyday Design collects practical ways to inspect the pages and instructions we encounter.

A small scope

The examples concern familiar documents and web pages. They offer questions to ask of a particular result, rather than a universal style or a professional certification.

Read one note at a time

Choose the question that fits the page in front of you. Each note has a section list and links to the neighbouring readings. Return to the index when the next question changes.

Local, readable pages

The notebook uses ordinary HTML and local styles and illustrations. No account, signup, external fonts or scripts are needed to read it.
